For the last 15 years the team has been supported by Dr. Heinrichs, consultant anaesthetist. She is
responsible for the anaesthetic in the clinic. Whether it is a local anaesthetic, sedation or general
anaesthetic, we want our patients to have the optimum treatment to avoid pain. There are two fully-equipped
rooms with the necessary anaesthetic machines. The preliminary appointment to discuss anaesthetis is
conducted at your own doctor or at the consultant, to whom you have been referred. Which procedure is best
for you is decided by the anaesthetist and the surgeon, together with yourself. It is of prime importance
that the patients experience the operation without fear, in a state of calm and are relaxed. Stress-free
treatment and total care in the operation ensure a speedy healing process and recovery. All operations
under anaesthetic are controlled by an anaesthetist. Our specially-trained team are responsible for the safe,
post-operative care in a separate recovery room.
